Tonight the sunset is beautiful, it's 14° and too warm for a long sleeve shirt. I guess that people who read my blog want to hear about awesome adventures, but sorry non here. Nearly half of the people in Alaska live in Anchorage, the biggest city in Alaska. I myself live in the woods, but not far enough out to be without internet! I do have one exciting story though. Once Ginny the dog was barking really loud at night. So I let her out the back door, suddenly Dad yells, "there's a moose out front don't let the dog out!" By the time I get to the front porch the moose is chasing Ginny around the side of the house. It's only about a foot behind her. When I get around to the back porch Ginny is standing there staring around the side of the house. The moose had turned around and left. The only thing that's ever charged Ginny was a chihuahua, so she ran right up to this moose, and was quite suprised when it charged. She now no longer runs right up to moose, but barks at them from them from the safety of the porch.
Question of randomness:
What is the world's coolest job

In my opinion it's being a photographer in Yellowstone National Park. You get to take pictures of wolves (the coolest critters ever if you ask me) and be in the most beautiful National Park in America. Not only that, in winter you can drive a 4-stroke snow machine around while searching for wolves.

What job do you think would be awesome? Tell the world! Post below, I'd love to here what you think.
We got about 2" of snow yesterday. Good enough for me. It's 3:34 pm, and I just finished breakfast. Planning on going for a walk, doing some sledding, and playing tag with the dog. The dog (Ginny), goes sphycho mode, where she rears up on her hind legs and runs around at 20mph. It's quite the sight to see. Now that I'm done with my post it's dark. I guess I'm not going sledding.

Fact of the day

The world's largest know predator to ever exist was the Spinosaurus which was a dinosaur that lived in the Cretaceous period. It is the only known aquatic dinosaur and the only carnivorous dinosaur of this size that walked on 4 legs. It was at least 50' long (there have only been two found), had 2' claws, and banana sized teeth.

It's snowing outside! About time I'd say, we've only had one big dump of snow this year and that didn't last long. It rained! Really rain at 20°? Right now it's 16°, I would settle for 0° but 16° is just sad. I wanted to snow machine and sled and play in the snow with the dog, but all my plans were ruined by rain. The snow went from 2' to just 1'. We got an inch or two after that but it still doesn't satisfy me. I try to think about how some people only get a few inches a year, but that doesn't change the fact that when I try to jump into the snow I hit a hard layer of ice on top. Now that I'm almost done with my post it's stopped snowing. I guess I'll just lay in the hammock and think of the ocean.
